Join to sing in the choir, or as our next accompanist!
We are a robust, enthusiastic and welcoming male voice choir that is going places, continuing to grow and develop our singing. Men are joining us regularly, some with little or no choir experience, some with plenty!

You are welcome to call in to see and hear what we do.
We meet to practice and rehearse on most MONDAYS and THURSDAYS at 7:15pm at The Angel Centre, Angel Place, Worcester WR1 3QN
You can also drop us a line if you are interested in singing in the choir: email: membership@worcestermalevoicechoir.org.uk
Established in 1987, WMVC is a progressive and exciting Midlands-based choir performing six or more concerts each year and a UK or continental tour and often singing in joint concerts with other choirs. In 2026, the choir is committed to 7 main concerts and a short tour to Cornwall (May 2026). There are frequent other events where an accompanist may also be required.
The choir sings from a varied and continually developing repertoire of over 150 pieces covering traditional and classical to more modern music. It ranges from songs such as Zadok the Priest, Welsh choir classics and sea shanties to varied musicals and songs by The Beach Boys and Billy Joel to more contemporary pieces such as Bohemian Rhapsody, Angels (Robbie Williams) with some pieces arranged by our Musical Director.
WMVC is a registered charity which raises funds for other causes both local and national including StRichards Hospice, Midlands Air Ambulance, Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Trust, and Prostate CancerResearch. Since forming in 1987 the choir has donated approximately £250,000 to charity. The choir’s Main Committee and Music Committee support the MD and choristers. Both committees include choir members.
The choir rehearses at The Angel Centre, Worcester, on Mondays and Thursdays (7.30pm to 9.15pm) and currently has over 90 choristers with new joiners most months.
