Welcome to the Worcester Male Voice Choir Website

001 EAMVC Concert 2019

 A message from our Chairman.

As summer progresses, in it’s typically variable format, we are keeping everyone at Worcester Male Voice Choir fully occupied as we prepare for our next couple of public performances.

Attendance at rehearsals continues to be very good and we have been fortunate to recruit 4 or 5 new members this year who all seem to have settled in well..

On Bank holiday Monday 29 August we will return to sing in the park in Pershore as part of the Plum Festival celebrations and on Saturday September 24 we will be teaming up with our friends from Loughborough Male Voice Choir for another rousing joint concert at St Andrews Church in Worcester City Centre.

We will be singing some of our tradition pieces of music but also some of the songs recently introduced by our Music Director, Scott Woolfenden, including ‘I get around’ by the Beach Boys , ‘Angels’ by Robbie Williams, ‘The Wellerman’  and ,hopefully, ‘Bohemium Rhapsody’.

We are also about to start learning ‘California Dreamin’ , who can remember the group that made that a huge hit back in the 60’s ?

Also you might like to  watch out for a couple of ad-hoc Pop up performances at various locations in and around Worcester over the coming weeks.

Why not come and join us ?

In the meantime Enjoy your summer.

Best wishes

Les.
