Wanted

WMVC are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Accompanist who can support the
MD & choir and continue to pursue excellence in male voice choral singing when our present MD
retires at the end of September 2018 and our present Accompanist takes over his role.
We are a progressive and exciting Midlands based choir performing twelve or more concerts a year along with UK and continental tours, singing from a repertoire of over 150 pieces. In 2011 we achieved charitable status enabling the choir to support other charities both local and national including St Richards, Midlands AirAmbulance and Cancer Research, raising over £200,000 since formed in 1987.
We rehearse at the Angel Centre Worcester on Mondays and Wednesdays and currently have over 70 choristers. To assist the MD the choir’s administration is carried out by a Main Committee, supported by a Music Sub Committee.
Remuneration is paid and would reflect experience, qualifications and availability.
If you feel you have the necessary skills and enthusiasm in the first instance email Mr Mark Membery (Chairman Music Committee) at markmembery@hotmail.co.uk or mobile 07484 621261

Worcester Wheels

ww logo

Worcester Wheels is a not for profit community transport operator that provides transport for elderly, disabled, vulnerable and isolated residents of the city and the surrounding areas. We have a fleet of fully wheelchair accessible minibuses and MPV’s, as well as volunteers who use their own cars to provide door to door trips, as well as fully trained passenger assistants should our clients require assistance. As we are a charity and use volunteer drivers and passenger assistants our fares are very affordable and offer excellent value for money. Our vehicles are also available for group hire – for excursions for example – with or without a driver / passenger assistant.

We also require volunteer drivers for cars and minibuses – car drivers are reimbursed at 45p per mile and there is no commitment necessary…you simply drive for us as and when you are available to do so.
